Like Stoops says one game at time. First they have to dominate the sheep humpers from stoolwater.

USC fan here but I agree, it's gonna be a tough game and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Sooners win. The money in Vegas has been coming in all week knocking the line down from USC -3 to USC-1, and even at one point on Monday the game was pick.

Once again Bob Stoops is embarrasing himself on national T.V. Oklahoma was suppose to be so damn great last year. Lost the last game of season, still got to go to title game( that's ridiculous in itself) got mopped by LSU. Then The redneck that Bob Stoops is, thought that espn and others had a conspiracy against his precious team. He wined and wined, and like last year the little baby redneck got his way. He gets to go to the title game again. And if any of you haven't noticed, he's getting the **** beat out of his so called great team......again. Oklahoma is a disgrace.

I really thought OU-USC would be a good game and give it up to SC, they came out and played with heart and desire. I sat thru every second of a major *** whipping and was thouroughly disgusted with the way OU rolled over and quit. The offense was predicatable and secondary sucked. I am at a lose for words.
All I have to say is congrats to USC, they came out and wanted it more than OU.

The win by USC will bring all manner of recrimination in Oklahoma. Possibly a call for the coach to step aside.

Scouting by USC must have been wonderful.

I do not know what went wrong, so very wrong.

I am an OU fan and will remain one regardless.........

I quit listening to talk radio yesterday here in Oklahoma. The "homers" were getting on my nerves. Wed. they wanted the whole coaching staff for their lack of preparation, Mark Bradley was the ultimate villian for his fumble in the first quarter, Chuck Long needed to be strung up on the closest tree and very few were accepting the fact that SC just plain ole opened a can of whoop-***. There had to be some reason other than the 5 turnovers for the Sooners to lose.
OU football is all most people have in this state and when they don't win you would think the world was about to end. I've been a Sooner fan since I was a kid when Chuck Fairbanks was the coach and I would rather go thru an *** whipping with at least a shot at the Natl Champ. than those lean days of the Blake era. All those fair weather fans that were in Miami and in bars around the state will be back next year sniffin' the jocks of 19-22 year old college kids because they have nothing else to do here.

So right mojo.

I am from Oklahoma. Play football long enough and in a balanced conference and it is a gurantee that you will lose some of the games.

As long as the team wins, the same folks you mention will preach the gospel of "sportsmanship".

When was the last time a team went to a bowl game, turnedthe ball over that much and still won?

They sound like 49er fans. Not a credit to the team or themselves.

But I have been to church on Sunday after a big game and hear a pastor condem the referees during the Friday night game. What a crock.

No, its a game dammit, a game. But the people in the state do not care how they win, just that they do.

They could always go noodlin'.

http://www.cabelas.com/information/...in-Fishing.html

My family moved to Germany with my father who was in the army and I was 14. But before then, I would go noodlin with the local Chief of police. (Now and then it is declared illegal because so many of the BIG fish get taken Not something I would do now - but then it was OK).

I have seen cats to 150. Not lately. I have been in California for a long time.

Welcome to life after domination. I think that OU will be back, but it's not going to be pretty this year.

It's a little early to start saying that. They lost their opener, but so many of these guys are inexperienced, but incredible athletes, that they'll get alot better as the season continues. I don't see them losing more than three games this year, and I think we'll compete with Texas, and hopefully I'll be able to watch my Sooners play a bowl game sometime in January of '06.
