Arrow 2007 MLB World Series Predictions

Before we know it baseball will be in full swing and the 2007 World Series will be upon us.

Look into your crystal ball and make your picks for the 2007 MLB World Series winner.

I see Chicago in my crystal ball, but the exact team is still a bit fuzzy....

I would like to see the Padres there, but I think they will have a tough time to win the Division this time around, having the 2 other California teams in the NL West in the way.

This is the Mets' year........

My prediction: Yanks and Mets meet in the WS and the Mets absolutely destroy them........ 4 games to 0

If all the money invested pays off, the BoSox may possibly add this season to thier WS Title.

I can agree with that As long as they find a suitable closer. (I really dont understand why they dont use Papelbon since they already have more than enough starters....)

With as much as they have spent already, they may just go after one that is already in thier Prime.

Erm, why are they using Joel Pinero as the closer? That's their plan, and that is a horrible move in my opinion. He couldnt pitch very well at Safeco, he'll get creamed at Fenway.....

I just looked in the Net and seen him with 35 Saves, but listed as a Starting Pitcher.

I don't get that.

It seems that Papelbon has gone back to the closer role, solving half of the problem, but it looks like sox batters took a serious beating in spring training. Many of their key players actually hit below .200 over this spring training.

This seems like it could be an exciting year with all the money spent and all the Hype. I wish I could be happy about the Padres and thier transactions in the off season. I believe they will get squashed this year.

I sure hope the White Sox can do it but Detroit is going to tough. Sox are doing ok right now. So far so good.

Default looking for any advise

I am a female Padres fan, very unfamiliar with "chatting". Am looking desperately for any suggestions for friend who is avid Red Sox fan but also loves the Padres. He converted to Red Sox in mid 90's and need suggestion for preseant, possibly any good ideas? Maybe someone could name outstanding player for possible memorabilia? Or even dates of something to keep an eye on. Anything would be much appreciated!

That is one thing that I do not doubt. How far they may go into the Playoffs is another. It just may end up the Classical Red Sox-Yankees match-up for the AL Pennant
